Arts 1A Study Guide Weeks 1-3 (.pdf file) Posted 1/5 AM
Print out the study guide and keep it with you in class as well as when you are reading chapters.
SOME INFORMATION UPDATES: Posted 1/4 11:00PM
1. Status on Textbooks at DAC Bookstore:
DAC ordered 50 of the electronic books w/Access Code and 50 printed books. The Printed books had not arrived as of this morning at 11:30. The electronic books (a red cardboard envelope) arrived and they were to be shelved later today. posted You should also be able to find the books (print & electronic versions) at Aida's in the Oaks Shopping Center, on Stevens Creek Blvd directly across the street from campus. (It is easier to walk across the street than drive)
2. Student Resources Available on MyArtsLab
3. System Requirements for MyArtsLab Online Study Tools
I just uncovered this info. If your computer or software is outdated, check this item before you buy an ACCESS card.
Arts 1A W'10 Syllabus posted 1/3
Printed copies will be distributed in class Wed. 1/6.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION (from syllabus):
1
REQUIRED FOR WINTER 2010:
TEXTBOOK: A World of Art by Henry Sayre, Pearson Prentice Hall, 2010. 6th edition required.
Text is available as printed book and also as e-book (cheaper than print version).
Do NOT buy older editions of the text.
(The text is new this year and therefore, it is not available as a used book.)
2
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR WINTER 2010:
ACCESS CODE for MyArtsLab.
Go to System Requirements link above to verify that the ACCESS code website is supported on your computer. .
MyArtsLab is a collection of online study tools and supplements, as well as opportunity for extra credit assignments.
3
It is cheaper to purchase the e-book and Access Code (for MyArtsLab) as a package, rather than buying them separately. DAC bookstore has both versions. Go to Packaging Options for ARTS 1A Text

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE AWARE...
