CAUTIONS & DISCLAIMER:
The packaging info above is accurate as of 12/29/09. I will update if I hear of any changes. (Since the announcement in Oct. 09, there have been several changes to the packaging. As a result, even publisher reps are confused.)
The e-book provides access to the exact same layout, content and pages via computer. Students who have easy access to a computer and internet may prefer this option.
Students can purchase a subscription to access textbook online OR as a download to one computer (duration is 6 months for both). (E-Book and paper version are for student's personal use only. It is illegal to make copies for sale or profit.)
If computer and/or internet access are NOT readily available 24/7, students should purchase the traditional printed version of textbook.
BEFORE YOU BUY: Read details carefully, whether you buy retail or online.
Insure that you are getting brand new 6th edition.
Earlier editions will not match reading and writing assignments in our class.
Do not buy the 5th edition, even if it is a new book.
(5th edition has a blue cover with butterfly) Furthermore, AS USED BOOKS, OLDER EDITIONS HAVE LITTLE OR NO RESALE VALUE once a new edition is introduced.)
