Lab C: Math 112 Beginning AlgebraNote: If you are following these directions in printed (paper) form, first log on to the Internet and go to: http://faculty.deanza.edu/alvesdelimadiana then click on Adjunct Skills Internet Labs (B & C) under the Skills Center heading. Then click on
Lab C: Math 112 Beginning Algebra. That way you can click on the links instead of typing in the addresses.
To complete this Skills lab –
- Take at least one page of notes on “How to Study Math” at
http://www.howtostudy.org/resources/howt/index.htm
- For your posttest activity, go to Brooks Cole Publishers at
http://www.brookscole.com/math_d/
- Under “Resources” click “Student Book Companion Sites” (top left menu). Scroll down to find your text, Alice Kaseberg’s Intermediate Algebra, 3rd edition.
- Click on the text icon.
- Select the chapter(s) you wish to review and take at least one tutorial quiz..
- Submit your posttest (quiz) and your one+ page of notes from the first link for grading.
(Skills grades are based on effort and the quality of the notes and work, not on the posttest content accuracy. However, we strongly recommend students review any questions missed before submitting this lab.)

Go to Addison Wesley Longman: http://www.mccc.edu/~kelld/algintro/algintro.htm. Select an area you wish to review. Take a quiz. Submit at least one printed page with one+ page of notes from the first link.
