If you'd like to become a De Anza tutor, please download, fill out and submit the
New Tutor Application form (4 page word document)
Please have an instructor fill out the Faculty Recommendation Form (one page word document) and e-mail it to the appropriate supervisor.
In order to work as a tutor you must:
- Submit (in person or as an e-mail attachment) a completed tutor application, schedule, and questionnaire to the appropriate Tutor Supervisor:

- Submit a completed Letter of Recommendation Form from a faculty member in each subject you wish to tutor
- Have completed each subject you wish to tutor with an earned grade of B or better
- Have an instructor in the subject(s) you wish to tutor submit the faculty recommendation form to the appropriate supervisor.
- Arrange a personal interview with the Tutor Supervisor for your subject area or the Tutorial Coordinator
