Adjunct Study Skills

Skills 132, Adjunct Study Skills, is a 1/2 unit pass/not pass course linked to certain De Anza content courses. The course combines small group content review with study skills strategies to help students become more efficient learners in all their courses. (Our motto: "Study Smarter, Not Harder")

To receive credit for the class, students must :
  • Fill out a Scheduling Ticket in class and sign up for the group in L-47 (first tw weeks of quarter)
  • Add and pay for the appropriate Skills 132 class
  • Complete an orientation (see Adjunct Skills Orientation)
  • Make a folder in L-47
  • Attend 7 group sessions
  • Complete four Skills Labs
  • .
